For good friends, the priority is given to quality but not quantity

Sometimes I am wondering…What is friendship?? How to define friend? Does friendship really last long? I mean in term of the quality of the friendship. What kind of friends do we have around us?

• A ‘hi and bye’ friend?
• An assignment friend which will only be approach when dealing with assignment?
• A sms friend which you seldom talk to but sms a lot?
• A friend who remains in your phone book that never had a connection since apart?
• A friend that you email always?
• A friend that you will only remember when you need help?
• A friend who is once close with you but not anymore now?
• A friend that can talk on what ever with? Even your deep down heart secret?

You see…we have so much ‘kind’ of friend around us…but not every friend we have is the kind of friend that can become close friend… for me, close friends are those who share your joy, pain, sorrow, fun, angry and all sort of feeling… close friends are hard to find. Because you may categorize all the friends you have and assign them into different ‘task’. Like who is suit for discussing assignments, who is more likely that you can talk to and yet your secrets are remain safe with him/her, who is the one for you to hang out with, things like that…

As I said just now, true and close friend is hard to find. The quantity is not important is not important but the ‘quality’ does. A person may search for this right person for his/her life time yet still fail. But some may already do… for my dear friend(s) that had successfully do, I would like to say ‘Congratulations’ and please treasure your friend… for those who haven’t, don’t give up on it, you will find someone someday in somewhere…believe me…

How to define a close friend? The one who knows all your little things? The one who share your secrets, feelings and you share his/her as well? But I dun say that all secrets… no matter how close a pair of friends, there will still be some deep down heart secret that only you yourself know. Am I right? Normally, I will share my happiness with my friends. The sorrow part I’ll left it to myself.. hehe.. No need to make people head big ma.. But if one doesn’t even want to/no intention to share his/her joy with you, does these person count as a FRIEND? Joy is not a shameful thing, is a happy thing…may be she/he thought that is a very personal thing, why should she/he want to tell the whole world… Maybe she/he got a reason…I don’t know.. Why don’t you tell me?

For those friends I hang out always, I really treasure you all.. I thought that we are quite close since we are like hanging 247.. But no matter how close I think you guys still need some personal space and secrets (happy or sad) remain between us. Am I right?

I have to admit that people are selfish. This is one of the natural characteristics of human. We can’t expect to have a person that will scarify herself/ himself for you or me.

For those who did, I know, and thank you very much. For those who dun, I will not blame on it, because it is a biasa thing among humans. I understand.

For me, if my friends are trying to ask me to do them a flavor, and I can manage to do it, I will try my very best to accomplish the flavor they asked me to.. No matter the thing/the person I know or not. Give it a try will not cause me to lose anything. Some of you may say that I am stupid enough to do these or wasting my time. But for me, helping them and seeing their happy face, everything is worth it. It is my pleasure to help.

Life is about sharing.. Helping each other and giving supports when someone need it.. Friends are mean to be sharing… I may not be a good advice provider that can solve all your problem.. But I will be a good listener. I can be your place to speak out all your sadness… ‘it is always to be good to speak out your mind and talk with people when you are down..’-**this is what one of my friend told me.. Thanks to this friend a lot** and of course if you are happy you want to share also ok la.. Cause happiness is meant to be share what..

Anyway, friendship is a beautiful thing.. Every of my single word mean no offend to the friends that I have now.. Anyway, I doubt if any of them are reading my blog also.. hehe..

It has been quite some time I write blog here… it is like some kind of little diary for me.. I express what I thought and what I feel… I type, save and upload to friendster blog when I online. I don’t know what is the energy resource that keeps me going… you know, I am kind of lazy person la… I don’t really write diary myself. I don’t have that kind of determination, I admit. Maybe now is holiday, and I am so free, nothing to do much… haha.. I don’t know.. Maybe after holiday, my blog will not be active anymore like now.

It is kind of fun to write blog and read blog of some of my friend here. I got to know what my friends had been thru and sometimes I can know how they feel. Maybe that’s why I wrote blog, to share what I have been thru… but I wonder how many are reading my blog also… haha… so sometimes, I may think that, writing here is no point… you will never know that if anyone is reading…

Last time, I upload some lyrics here.. and I glad one of my friend like that song – Everybody’s changing. She said the lyrics very meaningful and match her mood at that moment very much… hope that you can successfully find that song on internet… sorry ar.. Fail to send that song to you thru msn… hope that when you find and hear it, you will like it… it is a slow song. Quite nice also.

Time is passing by very fast. I am in holiday for 2 ½ weeks. Nothing much had been done, just some ordinary and necessary activities have been carried out. Such as eat, sleep, stick in front of the TV, play some computer game, do some house chore in the afternoon, after dinner *because I just wakes at that time* and of course online in the middle of the night as well. Nothing much had happened so far, nothing very ‘interesting’ or big happen in my life also. Just ordinary stuff… doesn’t know what will happen to me when the holiday ends… maybe I will become plumper and plumper…wahaha… I am already a plump gal…can’t imagine that.. Too scary for me to imagine it… What a cruel fact which is going to be true soon. Now that is what I call something big…bug news..

Currently got do some thinking… I am thinking that what are my friends think of me? What kind of person am I in their mind, in their heart? What are their opinions on me? Very hard to figure out… am I an annoying person? Because I think I am, sometimes. You know, sometimes I got play on some quizzes or test (xin li che yan) in the magazines on my social abilities. And it ends up telling me that I am a very social able person, bring laughter, got lots of friends like to hang out with me, I have the ability to make the party or gathering cheerful… is it really true? I don’t know.. And I dun think I have that kind of talent also..

There is once I ran a test on my personality. It came out that I am a happy go lucky, cheerful and positive thinking person… if last time I may say that this test is 100% accurate.. Because I really think that I am like that last time, even a bit over. But recently, I don’t know anymore. I may say it only left 80% of its accuracy. Maybe I did too much thinking until this kind of changes happened on me, I don’t know. Thinking on the grey side. Not to say that I think negatively always… I think positively but can’t help drifting to the negative side. So what I did is, I keep telling myself ‘dun think negative. Everything will be fine. Everything will be good. There must be a reason behind her/his action’.. See? It is like hypnotizing myself to think on the bright. Finding reasons for everything that happened around me,like neutralizing the negative effects.. No matter it make sense or not. Maybe life is like that. Or maybe this is what we call ‘growing up’?

Who can help me to identify myself? I had done a lot of those quizzes or test… but I don’t know how may % of the accuracy I can trust.. Because sometimes I can’t discover any kind of the qualities that it says I had. But of cause I am also happy la.. Cause it says good thing on me what.. haha… so no matter what, I still like to take quizzes or test. Just to have fun and syok sendiri ma..

Don’t know why. .this song kind of suits my feeling now… just make me feel like nothing is permanent on earth…even friendship… what I mean is no matter how close you are with someone.. One day you will found out that the closeness that once you had is not that close anymore… Friendship is still there but the ‘quality’ of it had changed… kinda sad right…
